तिहारको पाँच दिन....?

तिहारको पहिलो दिन काग तिहारको 

कात्तिक कृष्ण त्रयोदशी देखि कात्तिक शुल्क द्वितीया तिथिसम्म गरि पाँच दिन मनाइने यस पर्वमा प्रकृति र मानव जीवनसँग जोडिएका विभिन्न जीवहरुको समेत पूजाआजा गर्ने चलन रहेको छ ।
यमपञ्चक समेत भनिने तिहारको पाँच दिनमा क्रमैसँग काग, कुकुर, गाई, गोरु र आफना दाजुभाईको पूजा गरिन्छ ।
काग तिहारको धार्मिक महत्वतिहारको पहिलो दिनमा यमराजको दूत कागको पूजा गरिन्छ ।
गाँउघरमा आफ्नो घर अगाडि आएर काग करायो भने केही सन्देश ल्याएको वा घरमा पाहुना आउने जानकारीको दिएको मानिन्छ ।आफ्नो घरआँगनमा आएर काग कराउन थाल्यो भने राम्रो खबर सुनाओस् भनेर ‘सुबोल… सुबोल…’ अर्थात शुभ बोल भनेर भनिन्छ ।
धर्मशास्त्रका अनुसार यमलोकका अधिपति यमराजले पृथ्वी लोकका मानिसहरुको जन्म मृत्युको विवरण राख्ने गर्दछन् । त्यस्तो विवरण पृथ्वीलोकमा ल्याउने र लैजाने काम भने कागले गर्छ भन्ने धार्मिक मान्यता रहेको छ ।
आकाशबाट उडेर छिटो सन्देश ल्याउन लैजान सक्ने भएकाले यमराजले कागलाई आफ्नो दूत बनाएको धार्मिक विश्वास रहेको छ । त्यसैले काग तिहारको दिनमा कागलाई पूजाआजा गरेर मिठो खानेकुरा खान दिएमा यसले वर्षभरि आफ्नो घरमा दुःखद सन्देश ल्याँउदैन भन्ने विश्वास रहेको छ।
यस दिनमा विहानैदेखि कागको पूजा गरिन्छ, घरवाहिर पात या दुना टपरीमा विभिन्न खाना राखेर कागलाई खान दिइन्छ । कागको पूजाआजा गर्दै आँउदो वर्षभरि कागले आफ्नो घरआगनमा राम्रो र सुखद खबरमात्रै ल्याओस भनेर कामना गरिन्छ ।
कागले हाम्रो ‘इकोसिस्टम’मा पनि ठूलो योगदान दिन्छ । हामीले लगाएको बालीनालीलाई हानी गर्ने किरा फट्याङ्ग्राहरुलाई खाइदिएर कागले अन्न उत्पादन बढाउन सहयोग गर्छ ।मानवसभ्यता र प्रकृतिसँग जोडिएको पन्छी कागको पूजा गर्नुलाई मानिसले प्रकृतिमा रहेका जीवजन्तुलाई गर्ने प्रेम र सम्मानको रुपमा पनि बुझ्न सकिन्छ ।

तिहारको दोस्रो दिन कुकुरको पूजाआजा किन गरिन्छ ?

कार्तिक कृष्ण चतुर्दशीका दिन कुकुर तिहार मनाईन्छ ।कुकुर तिहारको दिनलाई नरक चतुर्दशी पनि भनिन्छ ।धर्मशास्त्रमा कुकुरलाई सुरक्षाकर्मीको साथै यमराजको दूतका रुपमा वर्णन गरिएको छ । मृत्यूपर्यन्त पनि मोक्षको द्वारमा कुकुरले नै पहरा दिएको धर्मशास्त्रमा उल्लेख छ । यस्तै कुकुरलाई भगवान भैरवको बाहनको रुपमा पनि चिनिन्छ ।महाभारतमा पाण्डवहरू स्वर्ग जाने बेलामा युधिष्ठिरले आफ्नो कुकुरलाई पनि सँगै लिएर स्वर्ग गएको कथा छ । उक्त कथामा कुकुरलाई यमराज वा धर्मराजकै स्वरूपको रुपमा वर्णन गरिएको छ।
कुकुर तिहारको दिन कुकुरलाई पूजाआजा गरि माला लगाइदिने चलन रहेको छ । त्यसपछि कुकुरलाई मन पर्ने खानेकुरा खान दिइन्छ ।
कुकुरले प्राकृतिक प्रकोप आउनुपूर्वनै केही समयअगाडि नै थाहा पाउँछ र भुकेर यस्ता कुराहरुको पूर्वसूचना दिने गर्छन् । जति सुकै दुःख कष्ट आइपरे पनि कुकुरले आफ्नो मालिकको साथ छोड्दैन । त्यसैले मानिसले कुकुरलाई आफ्नो भरपर्दो साथीको रुपमा लिने गर्छन् ।यमपञ्चकले पृथ्वीमा रहेका सबै जीव जनावरहरुलाई हामीले माया र संरक्षण गर्नुपर्छ भन्ने कुरा सिकाँउछ । त्यसै अनुसार मानवसभ्यताको सुरुवातदेखि नै मानवहरुलाई साथ दिँदै आएको कुकुरलाई विशेष महत्व दिएर पूजाआजा गरिन्छ ।

तिहारको तेस्रो दिन गाईतिहार र लक्ष्मी पूजा

गाईलाई लक्ष्मी र गौमाताका रूपमा लिइन्छ ।यो दिन गाईको पूजा गरेर माला र टीका लगाई मीठो मीठो खानेकुरा खुवाइन्छ । कार्तिक कृष्ण औंसीको रातलाई अत्यन्त अँध्यारो रातका रूपमा लिइन्छ । यो अन्धकारमा रातलाई उज्यालोको प्रकाशले आलोकित पार्ने कार्य घर-घरमा बत्ती बाली लक्ष्मीको आह्वान गरिन्छ । यसभित्र कुनै पनि किसिमको अन्धकारलाई आफूमा अन्तर्निहित चेतनाशक्तिको प्रकाशले हटाउनुपर्ने सन्देश पनि पाइन्छ । गाईलाई लक्ष्मीको प्रतिकात्मक मानेर त्यसै दिन लक्ष्मीपूजा पनि गरिन्छ ।  भगवान् रामचन्द्रले लोककल्याणको भावनाले रावणादि विविध असुरहरूको नाश गरेपछि कार्तिक कृष्ण औंसीको दिन अयोध्याको राजाका रूपमा राज्यारोहण गरेको खुसीयालीमा अयोध्यावासीले दीपावली गरेको प्रसङ्ग होस् वा यमराजले यमपञ्चकका पाँच दिन आफ्नी बहिनी यमुनाकहाँ बसेका कारण यस दिन मृत्यु हुने कुनै मानिसले नरक देख्नुनपर्ने विश्वासमा खुसी मनाउँदै दीपावली गर्ने प्रचलन आरम्भ भएको नै किन नहोस्, यी सबै प्रसङ्गमा यो दिनको ठूलो महत्त्व रहेको तथ्य स्पष्ट हुन्छ ।सुख-सम्पत्ति र ऐश्वर्य अभिवृद्धिको मनोकामनासहित माता लक्ष्मीको विशेष रूपमा पूजाआजा र अर्चना गर्नु तथा त्यसपछि लक्ष्मीकै प्रसाद प्रयोग गरी आफ्ना दराज, सेफ, भण्डार आदिमा स्वस्तिक चिह्न अंकित गर्नु वा शुभलाभ लेख्नु हाम्रो धार्मिक परम्परा हो ।दीपावलीमा "तमसोमा ज्योतिर्गमय" अर्थात् अन्धकारबाट प्रकाशतर्फ लागि आफूलाई आत्मिक रूपमा सुख-सन्तोष प्रदान गर भन्नेयो दिन चेलीबेटीहरू भैलो खेलेर रमाइलो गर्छन् ।यो पर्व लक्ष्मी देवीको पूजा गरी घरभरि दियो बाली मनाइन्छ।  वर्षका चार महत्वपूर्ण रातहरूमध्ये लक्ष्मीपूजाको रातलाई सुखरात्रि भनिन्छ।यस दिन स्त्री जाति विशेष गरी कुमारी केटीहरूले घरघरै गई भैलो खेल्ने चलन छ।

तिहारको चौथो दिन गोरु तिहार

नेपाल देश कृषिप्रधान देश हो। गोरु कर्मयोगी किसानहरूका लागि अत्यन्त आवश्यक जनावर हो। गोरु भगवान् शिवको वाहन पनि हो। गोपाल शब्दले गाई पाल्ने व्यक्ति, गाईको धनी, ग्लावा, गोठाला आदिको पनि बोध हुन्छ। गोपाल भगवान् श्रीकृष्णको पर्यायवाची नाम पनि हो। द्वापरयुगमा नै इन्द्रले पानी नपारिदिएकाले कृषि पेसामा संलग्न कर्मयोगी गोपालहरू अत्यन्त चिन्तित थिए। यो अवस्थामा भगवान् श्रीकृष्णले गोबर्धन पर्वतको पूजा गर्ने सल्लाह दिए। गोपालहरूले त्यसै गरे, फलस्वरूप वर्षा भयो। सबै अन्न र ऐश्वर्यबाट समृद्ध भए। गाई र गोरुको संख्यामा पनि वृद्धि हुन पुग्यो। यसरी गोरुतिहार पर्व गोवर्धन पर्वतसँग गाँसिन पुगेको छ। यस दिन गोरुतिहारका रूपमा गोरुको पूजा गर्ने, गाईको गोबरबाट पहाड निर्माण गरी गोवर्धनको कामना गर्दै गोबर्धन पर्वतको पूजा गर्ने प्रचलन रहिआएको छ।त्यसैदिन नेपालीहरूले सालभरि अन्न उब्जाउन हलो तानी मानिसहरूको पालनहारी गोरूको पनि पूजा गर्दछन्।

तिहारको पॉचौ  दिन भाइतिहार (भाइ टीका)

भाइतिहार (भाइ टीका) तिहारको अन्तिम दिन अर्थात् कार्तिक शुक्ल द्वितीया तिथिका दिन यो पर्व विशेष उत्साहका साथ मनाइन्छ । यो पर्व दिदीले भाइलाइ र बहिनीले दाजुलाई अनि त्यसैगरी भाइले दिदीलाई र दाजुले बहिनीलाई विशेष मान-सम्मानका साथ विधिपूर्वक पूजाआजा गर्ने, मेवा-मिष्ठान्न आदि मनपर्ने कुरा ख्वाउने, दिदीबहिनीलाई दान-दक्षिणा एवं वस्त्र आदि दिने परम्परा छ । यमपञ्चकका पाँच दिन यमराजले बहिनी यमुनाको घरमा बास गर्छन् भन्ने धार्मिक विश्वास छ ।दाजु यमराजलाई विशेष मान-सम्मान गर्दै भाइपूजा गरेको धार्मिक महत्त्व छ ।भाइटीकाका दिन टीका नलगाई केही खानु हुँदैन भन्ने मानिसहरूको विश्वास छ। भाइटीका गर्न ओखर, तोरीको तेल, बिमिरा, मसला, मखमली, दूबो तथा सयपत्रीको माला, रोटी, मीठा-मीठा परिकारको आवश्यकता पर्छ । । सबैभन्दा पहिले दियो, कलश तथा गणेशको पूजा गरी बिमिराको पूजा गरिन्छ । त्यसपछि दाजु-भाइको मङ्गलको कामना गर्दै ढोकामा ओखरको तथा यमराजको पूजा गरी कालको बाटो छेक्नुपर्छ । पानी तथा तेलले ७ घेरा हाली दाजुभाइलाई छेक्नुपर्छ । फूल, अक्षता, चन्दन तथा लाभाले पूजा गरी दाजुभाइको शिरमा तेल लगाइदिनुपर्छ । सगुनका रूपमा दही दिनुपर्छ । भाइटीकाका दिनमा दाजुभाइलाई लगाइदिने मखमली, सयपत्री तथा दूबोको मालाको छुट्टै महत्त्व छ । मखमली कहिल्यै ओइलाउँदैन, सयपत्रीको रङ्गकहिल्यै उडेर जाँदैन भने दूबो सधै हरियै रहन्छ । दिदीबहिनीले दाजुभाइको यश, आरोग्य, दीर्घायूको कामना गर्दै निधारमा सप्तरङ्गी टीका लगाइदिन्छन् । सप्तरङ्गी टीकामा भावना मिसिंदा शान्ति बर्षिन्छ । दाजुभाइप्रतिको प्रेम रङ्गजस्तै गाढा तथा निरोगी भैरहने विश्वास गरिन्छ। दिदीबहिनीले दाजुभाइलाई ढाकाको टोपी लगाइदिन्छन् । यसले आयु बढाउनुका साथै राष्ट्रियता झल्काउँछ । टीका लगाएपछि उपहार आदान-प्रदान गरिन्छ । धर्ममा टीकाको धेरै महत्व छ, पूजा-पाठ पछि टीका थाप्दा आत्मामा धेरै आनन्दानुभूति हुन्छ। टीका विशेषत: रातो वा पहेलो रङ्गका लगाइन्छ। टीका निधारमा लगाइन्छ। तिहारमा लगाइने टीका सात रङ्गका हुन्छन्, पहेंलो, नीलो, सुन्तला रङ्गको, सेतो, हरियो, रातो र कालो। सात रङ्गका यी टीकालाई सप्तरङ्गी भनिन्छ। सतरङ्गी टीकालाई निधारमा उर्द्ध्वाकार रेखामा सिधा लगाइन्छ। यसबाट तीनवटा रङ्ग घरमा पनि तयार गर्न सकिन्छ। हरियो रङ्गको लागि हरियो घास पिनेर तयार गरिन्छ, सेतो रङ्ग चामल पिनेर र कालो रङ्ग कोइलाबाट वा बत्तीको कालिखबाट लिइन्छ।
